This Community, like The Body of Christ, is comprised of many parts. Each person is important and needed in order for it to be effective. 1 Corinthians 12:12-18 describes it like this:
If Foot said, "I'm not elegant like Hand, embellished with rings; I guess I don't belong to this body," would that make it so? If Ear said, "I'm not beautiful like Eye, limpid and expressive; I don't deserve a place on the head," would you want to remove it from the body? If the body was all eye, how could it hear? If all ear, how could it smell? As it is, we see that God has carefully placed each part of the body right where he wanted it. This is Community is a place where everyone welcomes and reflects diversity and inclusiveness in worship, education, fellowship, service, justice, leadership, and evangelism. We are a Community where ALL MEMBERS honor, respect, nurture, and support the gifts, talents, and services of other members.
As member of this Community you made the decision to join I pray because you felt lead by the Holy Spirit to do so. With that said I ask you to take a moment to evaluate how you can be a contributing member and actively serve and share with others here in the community.
"Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.... Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness." - 2 Corinthians 9: 6- 10
Many think the above scripture speaks of money only. But what the scripture is really saying is: If we want to harvest we must sow or plant something. This principle extends beyond created things such as trees, cows, fish, apples, wheat, and so on. We know plants and animals have life, but did you realize that spiritual entities also have life and reproduces after its kind? When God said that every living thing was to be of its kind, it also included these: hate after its kind, love after its kind, anger after its kind, grace after its kind, Diligence brings forth diligence. Mercy brings forth mercy. Enthusiasm brings forth enthusiasm. Compassion brings forth compassion. Kindness brings forth kindness. Friendship brings forth friendship. Love brings forth love.
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." (Galatians 6:7 KJV)
Everything you give out to others, God will eventually give back to you. This is the basic nature of God's Justice: "YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW." If you think about this for a moment, you will see this principle at work everyday in your life. If you want to know what your coming harvest is, recall in your mind what kind of seeds you have planted. Better yet, what kind of seeds do you sow now?
If you have an online business and you want customers sow into a believer’s online business that you are communicating with every day. If you have an online ministry and you want your ministry to grow sow into another online ministry. God can not give into your hands or bosom if they are closed or full. They must be open and empty ready to receive. God speaks to each of us daily and we all can share, pray and support each other.
Now, I said all that to say this:
We adhere to the Biblical Principle of Sowing & Reaping in this community.Therefore in order to maintain an “Active Membership” status each member is required to make a commitment to support each other by doing one of the following at least twice each month (visiting the site is not enough):
(i) Comment on or post a Blog Post/Discussion. We have several gifted and inspiring writers/bloggers on the site. So every month, please try to comment on at least two blog or discussion posts. Don’t just reading them or ignore the notifications.
(ii) Attend A Member's Online Event. When members host tele-seminars, prayer sessions, webinars, radio shows etc attend and participate. Event Hosters: Be sure to add your event to the network calendar.
Is there anything you would like to share with the Community?For Example: A New Service, Product, Business Venture, Book Release etc... If you are a monthly sponsor you can post it as a comment on the Bulletin Board for free.
If you are not a monthly sponsor there is a $3.75 per week feefor your information to be added. Information added and it will be shared with members in the email broadcasts. Note: If you are sharing an event, also add it to the events page, to have it displayed on the home page. To place items on the Bulletin Board use the Love Offering Button, then send me an email with your information.
God has a purpose for this online community. With that said, the more active you are on the network the more you will reap the benefit of all God has for you here.
